Our Process
Site Analysis:
This is your vision and we are committed to making it a reality….so we start our design process with an initial client meeting. Walking the property we are able to view all areas to be designed while reviewing factors such as desired function of the site, watering, lighting, landscape, existing plantings, slope and location of utilities. Our initial meeting will entail showing samples of work so that as the designer we understand the style of landscape design desired from formal, informal, contemporary or perhaps a combination of styles. After careful reflection of wants and needs from the client, the limitations and requirements of the property, the designer now has the information needed to develop a conceptual plan.
Conceptual Plan:
Our next step is to review the property requirements, desires of the client and develop a conceptual plan to include graphic layout as well as budget requirements for conceptual plan. This plan provides an overview of the project and includes a layout of functional areas, planting areas and hardscape. At this point a visit to the supply yard is made to give clients a general expectation as to what plants and materials will be used for their project.
Master Plan:
Upon approval of the conceptual plan and budgets, we will then prepare a scaled to size master plan (or blueprint) which will show the layout of plantings and hardscape as well as a listing of plant material, sizes and quantities and specifications.
Implementation:
This is the last step to see your vision become a reality! Implementation and timelines will all be reviewed at this point. Now all that needs to be done is completing your project so you can enjoy your new beautiful landscape!
