Skyview has been a name in the community for over 50 years. As Skyview Landscapes was established in 2005 by me, Michael Scaringe, the traditions of a family business and customer service began decades before.

My grandfather and his family opened Skyview Star Market in Latham during the 1960’s. It was a local supermarket where customers would not only shop for value, but also for the warm feeling the Skyview family created within the store.

I had my first job at Skyview Star Market, where I was witness to the home town atmosphere and the way my grandfather treated all of his customers. While creating a mission for Skyview Landscapes, I felt it was necessary to bring these same characteristics to my customers, as did my grandfather.

I am a 2006 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Management. With over ten years in the landscape industry, I have the knowledge and experience to complete a broad spectrum of projects. Since the incorporation of Skyview, the company has grown to serve the Greater Capital District with many crews and diversified equipment to complete various projects.
